The opportunity - Lead our inside Sales Team
We have a fast-growing global sales team working across the US and Europe. Working with your EMEA based counterpart and reporting to our VP of Sales, you’ll lead the US-based inside team built out with BDRs, AEs, BDMs, and Sales Operations support. You’ll develop your team on their journey to partner with new clients and develop commercial accounts across the clinical research industry (e.g., CROs, pharma/biotech, and medical device companies).
What you’ll do
As a Sales Leader, you’ll ensure our commercial organization is primed for success as we continue to expand across North America (and internationally!). How? By owning Castor’s sales targets and goals for growth, aligning the inside sales teams goals and activities with our Go To Market strategy. Your focus will be to:
Manage, grow, and coach the lead generation and new business teams
Develop sales talent by creating team-wide and individualized coaching plans
Maintain sales dynamics, leading by example with a positive, open, and ambitious culture
Partner and collaborate across Castor to improve workflows, ensuring sales is set for success
Contribute to developing expansion plans for our current commercial accounts
What you’ll bring
You’ll have a proactive sales approach to build and develop a successful inside sales team. Balancing leadership and sales responsibilities while supporting our purpose-driven business to scale, you’ll have:
Experience coaching and developing repeatable sales processes
A data-driven approach and a strong understanding of funnel metric
Strong people management experience in leading, building, and scaling inside sales teams
The ability to put in place goals, sales training programs, and individual growth plans
Strong communication skills that align with Castor’s core values - respectful, honest, and direct
