Our Sales Team: setting you up for success

Our inside sales team works across Europe, and the U.S. built out with Business Development Reps, Account Executives, Business Development Managers, and Sales Operations support (including solutions consultants, training and development, and analysts). The sales team’s commitment is to partner with new clients and develop commercial accounts across the clinical research industry. The result? Bringing clinical trials to the 21st century!

What you’ll focus on

As our next Sales Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for data-driven insights, making compelling cases for what we need to do more or less of, driving SFDC (SalesForceDotCom) process improvements, SFDC deployments and organizational changes to optimize our Go-To-Market model.

You will also be responsible for all assurance activities related to the availability, integrity and confidentiality of customer, business partner, employee, and business information in compliance with our information security policies.

Accordingly, responsibilities of the role will be as follows;

  • Utilize existing dashboards and ad-hoc analysis to pinpoint areas of inefficiency or untapped opportunity across sales teams, territories, geographies, or product lines
  • Consult with Sales and RevOps leadership to modify and evolve sales coverage strategies. Evaluate gaps in coverage models and provide data to support strategic direction
  • Collaborate with peer analysts in Finance, Client Success, and Marketing to measure, evaluate, improve overall sales funnel effectiveness. Diagnose gaps in process, tracking, and systems that prevent effective and timely measurement
  • Develop presentations and communications to enable salespeople and communicate recommendations to senior executives
  • Work with sales leaders to identify and build process improvements that drive sales performance
  • Establish processes to improve and maintain data accuracy in Salesforce.com and underlying systems
  • Through reporting, enablement and automation help drive and maintain forecast accuracy and pipeline coverage
  • Responsible for Owning and Driving Project and Program Management initiatives for Sales Operations related initiatives
  • Design, operate, and integrate SFDC processes to enable efficiencies in key areas of the business with the aim to drive sustainable sales growth at Castor
  • Provide consulting and coaching around best practices in SFDC administration and implementation to enhance user experience
  • Work on SFDC automation to streamline processes
  • Manage multiple stakeholders' engagements and work with associated team members to understand projects, facilitate business process analysis sessions, and develop technology solutions for these teams
  • Identify project issues/risks and present alternatives to alleviate or resolve them
  • Be the owner & operator of the sales account management process & territory assignments within Castor
  • You will be aware of the Castor quality policy, information security policy, and the procedures from the Quality and Information Security Management system (QISMS)
  • You will be following the Castor quality policy, information security policy, the code of conduct and the procedures from the Quality and Information Security Management system (QISMS)

What you'll bring

  • 2-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Sales Operations within similar SaaS sales organizations
  • At least 3 years of experience working with SFDC 
  • Advanced experience with SFDC configurations
  • Experience working with business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau) and strong data analytics skills (e.g. SQL, Microsoft Excel)
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively while also ensuring accuracy of work through attention to detail
  • Ability to build rapport with sales teams and curious mindset to continuously seek to learn about the challenges and insights sales teams face in the marketplace
  • A background in CRM process design and implementations
  • Experience with other CRM software, such as Siebel, Clarify, Vantive, Peoplesoft, and NetSuite
  • Experience with enterprise integration tools and extract, transformation, and load (ETL) tools
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills to make compelling, recommendations for change backed by data
  • Relevant understanding of clinical guidelines: ICH-GCP - Good Clinical Practice, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, and relevant GXP Regulations and Guidance
