What you’ll do
As Head of Legal, you will be responsible for ensuring that the company’s operations are conducted in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. You will maintain compliant and fast contracting processes to allow the business to run smoothly. As well as advising the business on any legal developments and risks that may arise as we continue to grow, you will:
Manage our international legal team as well as organizing workload and budget control;
Advise management on strategic legal matters and execute strategic projects;
Own corporate housekeeping, IP management and global company legal structure;
Take ownership of any legislative developments in the 90+ countries where Castor does business;
Investigate legal and privacy opportunities and challenges with regard to Castor’s mission to make medical research data reusable.
Please note that this position is not responsible for ISO27001/ISO9001/Regulatory compliance. This sits within the Compliance team.
What you’ll bring
You will be an experienced and highly organized strategic business partner for managers, employees, clients as well as our international customers. You will be able to demonstrate your knowledge and experience with corporate law and commercial law, preferably in a sales environment:
Experience in a fast-paced environment with a hands-on attitude, in order to process information quickly and work on strategic and complex projects;
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work to strict deadlines with time-sensitive information;
Familiar with working with different systems and technologies for example contract lifecycle management systems.
