Sales Training and Enablement Consultant

Job description

Castor’s SaaS products already power 4,000 clinical trials across 90 countries. Having just secured a $12 million Series A investment, we're looking for a Sales Enablement Consultant to enhance our sales organization's development, supporting our journey as we bring clinical research into the 21st century!

Who is Castor?

Castor is a leading cloud-based clinical data platform working with some of the world’s largest medical device companies, biopharmas, and renowned academic institutes.

We simplify the clinical trial process, from recruitment to analysis, with user-friendly, patient-centric technology. Our mission is to bring medical research into the digital age. Why? Because medical research is still primarily run using free-text, paper, and legacy technology.

Our self-service platform enables our users to run remote, device enabled, patient-centric trials. By helping our users capture high-quality data and making it machine-readable, we are fundamentally changing the flawed evidence-based medicine process.

The opportunity: what’s currently in place?

Right now, we have onboarding materials in place, but with our team and business growth, we need an advanced onboarding program across Product, Marketing, CS & Sales to ensure that new hires are up to speed quickly and efficiently. Why? To be even more successful in selling our product, we need to enable our people!

What you’ll do

At Castor, we're looking to create a more robust sales enablement program to better train and develop our current Sales Team and future hires. You’ll have the opportunity to support the growth of our global sales organization, working with our New York-based Head of Sales, Frank Cesaro, to:

  • Develop sales training with a high-level focus on clinical trials, associated regulations, and a deep-dive into Castor products;
  • Organize and build on our current sales knowledge database and materials;
  • Create pitch decks and demos with speaker notes (eventually training the team on how to present them)
  • Develop support materials for the team to utilize when creating quotes and proposals

What you’ll bring

You’ll be a passionate sales advocate and trainer who knows what it takes to support the development and champion the success of growing teams. Having created scalable processes, you’ll be able to create training programs that empower sales teams to adopt product knowledge, drive communication, secure customer retention, and accelerate new sales cycles. You’ll also have:

  • Experience with the training of eClinical Sales teams (EDC/CTMS/eTMF/RBM etc.)
  • A technical affinity and ease to work with sales and business operations software
  • The ability to deliver high-impact sales training materials and processes
  • A modern approach to sales - with experience in SaaS? Even better!

What you’ll get

With this freelance consulting opportunity comes the ability to make a true impact on the world of clinical research. How? By joining a SaaS start-up at the forefront of supporting the COVID-19 pandemic and leading the design of intuitive, quality, efficient and user-friendly tools for researchers. We will offer you:

  • A flexible and remote working opportunity (you can be based anywhere, as long as you can connect with our teams in ET and CET)
  • A competitive rate with bonuses based on program delivery
  • The opportunity to create a robust sales training program for a growing SaaS startup
  • The chance to be involved in maximizing the impact of research which improves healthcare
