The main challenges
We want to give you a realistic idea of what to expect at Castor. You won’t walk into a company that has everything sorted out for you already. You need to bring an entrepreneurial mindset, pull your sleeves up, and blow us away. Your title might state "manager" but you will also do the ground work. Your main challenges:
Keeping the daily people admin up and running in an international, scaling and changing environment;
Ensuring smooth processes and procedures without bureaucracy;
Creating spot on documentation, contracts, letters and playbooks;
Implementing international payroll plus compensation and benefits;
Automating as much as possible;
Driving initiatives to maintain a healthy and happy team
Keeping up with HR compliance.
Be: Hands-on as the first person our people go to with their questions from absence and commuting till visa and benefits;
Create: employment contracts, addenda, employee letters and a lot of other shizzle;
Implement: processes and procedures;
Amaze: by running a spotless payroll and HR admin;
Build: Rock-solid automated and compliant admin;
Drive: initiatives to maintain a healthy team.
To be successful in this role, you have:
About 5+ years of people operations experience; you’ve fully experienced the people admin cycle from welcoming onboarding till heart-warming offboarding;
Worked in an international environment before;
Fluent English and Dutch with hands-on knowledge of Dutch labor law;
Previously helped with automating as much HR admin as possible;
Defined concise and super clear processes and procedures;
Delivered on people intelligence insights and analytics;
A close to obsessive drive for accuracy, you are the type that truly hates making mistakes.
