How is Castor supporting the Coronavirus crisis?

Castor has joined the global fight against the Coronavirus by making our research data capture system available for free for all COVID-19 research projects. Castor is supporting more than 200 COVID-19 studies across the world, including the World Health Organization’s SOLIDARITY trial.

Your Opportunity: lead and develop Castor’s People Operations

The last 12 months were a defining time at Castor, as we secured a $12million Series A and continued to develop as a remote-first company. What makes us so unique? We believe we can achieve anything with a happy and healthy team. Your opportunity? Building your People Ops team, leading our people processes both locally and globally, as we gear up for rapid growth - going from 100 to 300 employees and beyond!

What you’ll do

As our People Operations Manager, you’ll drive various projects to ensure we stay ahead of the latest people process trends, ensuring business as usual runs smoothly and efficiently. You’ll do this by:

• Managing the People Ops Team while operationally owning, standardizing, and improving processes to ensure scaleable compliance across our people processes and documentation
• Implementing industry best practices to ensure we continue to deliver a world-class employee experience;
• Owning our People tooling, critically reviewing our current HR tech-stack, and being responsible for optimizing automation.

What you’ll bring

You will have extensive experience in leading a People Operations team and knowledge of employee experience or HR Operations in a fast-growing company. You’ll also bring:

• Experience implementing people operations processes and a strong understanding of the compliance surrounding these
• Knowledge of Dutch and US employment law (including experience with benefits funding and enrollment);
• Experience in supporting a company scale in record time (e.g. from 50 to 100 to 300 employees);
• Excellent project management skills, with a strong understanding of People Systems and processes and the ability to identify upgrades needed to achieve business objectives;
