Head of Sales

Job description

As our Head of Sales you play a crucial role in our growth plans. As an experienced, smart and passionate sales leader you will join our leadership team. You’ll define and execute our sales strategy, are responsible for designing the structure and processes that we need for sustainable growth and you’ll own our ARR number. You’ll have your own budget and you’ll build and inspire your own sales team.

You don’t start from scratch. We are the fastest growing HealthTech company in the Netherlands. We have strong traction in the United Kingdom and United States, and the latter is our primary growth market. We want you to capitalize on the growth opportunities across commercial and academic research globally, with a strong focus on the US.

The main challenges

As Head of Sales, you have to roll up your sleeves and close large deals yourself. In addition, you’ll:

  • Define the Sales strategy to obtain our revenue targets

  • Build the Sales team (US, NL & UK)

  • Improve our sales processes to ensure repeatability and predictability

  • Bolster our Sales tactics with cutting edge technology

  • Lead and train the Sales team


To be successful in this role, you have:

  • Knowledge of what it’s like to go from single digit to double digit ARR ($M)

  • Extensive SaaS Sales experience

  • Consultative seller that can close complex deals

  • Passionate about data-driven sales and technology

  • Healthcare background and network is a major plus
