Who is Castor?

Castor is a leading cloud-based clinical data platform working with some of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies, medical device companies, biopharmas, and renowned academic institutes.


We simplify the clinical trial process, from recruitment to analysis, with user-friendly, patient-centric technology. Our mission is to bring medical research into the digital age. Why? Because medical research is still largely run using free-text, paper, and legacy technology.


Our self-service platform enables our users to run remote (decentralized), device enabled, patient-centric trials. By helping our users capture high-quality data and making it machine-readable, we are fundamentally changing the flawed evidence-based medicine process.


How is Castor supporting the Coronavirus crisis?

Castor has joined the global fight against the Coronavirus by making our research data capture system available for free for all COVID-19 research projects. Castor is supporting more than 200 COVID-19 studies across the world, including the World Health Organization’s SOLIDARITY trial.


What you’ll do

As Digital Marketing Director, you will own, manage and execute our go-to-market digital marketing strategy. Reporting to the Head of Global Marketing, you will manage a small team and play a critical role in Castor’s growth and success by:


  • Managing an advertising budget and execution of all of Castor’s digital channels and campaigns 
  • Launching marketing campaigns and other growth initiatives to generate demand for Castor’s product suite: design experiments, develop campaign strategies, drive execution of campaigns through to completion, and regularly measure and optimize ROI;
  • Managing tools used to track, launch, and optimize Castor’s digital marketing channels and campaigns (e.g., Pardot, Zapier, Asana)
  • Managing our Marketing Automation Specialist and Website Manager, as well as agencies, vendors, freelancers, interns, and others, to execute a successful digital marketing strategy;


What you’ll bring

You have experience in determining the optimal channels and budget to reach, nurture, and convert our target segments, developing dashboards to track and optimize our content and campaigns' success and scale our digital marketing efforts across the world. You definitely have:


  • Experience in B2B SaaS organizations;
  • Experience managing and coaching high-performing teams to execute and optimize the digital marketing strategy;
  • Experience using channels like LinkedIn, Google, email marketing, affiliate to generate MQLs and leads;
  • Experience using Pardot, Salesforce, Asana, Zapier, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and other tools across digital marketing 
  • The drive, self-awareness, and flexibility to work in and contribute to a high-energy startup
