As our Academic Sales Manager UK you own the ARR number for the United Kingdom. You are an experienced, entrepreneurial, self-starting sales manager that can easily connect with academic researchers in NHS University Hospitals.
Together with our Head of Sales and CEO you will develop the sales strategy for the United Kingdom. You will build on our current traction in Glasgow University, King’s College London, Imperial College London and many other universities. With your drive to succeed, understanding of clinical research, and commercial talent, you will play a pivotal role in growing Castor in the UK.
You focus on the academic segment but also close any inbound commercial company prospects. The Sales team in Amsterdam will support you and the company leadership is available to fly in to help you close deals.
A typical week might mean you:
Demo Castor to a group of 25 researchers on-site
Attend an NHS Research event and use our existing connections to build out your network and identify a key event to attend next quarter
Create a proposal for a site license for a university hospital, including roll-out plan
Work with our Amsterdam team to respond to an RFI
Relay a key NHS-specific product requirement you discovered to our Product team
Provide feedback to our Marketing team on our UK specific website
Being able to deliver on the above probably means you:
Have a degree in medicine or equivalent
Have 4+ years experience in Sales or Account Management in Software / SaaS
You have experience building executive relations within the healthcare space, an existing NHS network is a major plus
Can never stop talking about ways to increase the effectiveness of clinical research
Are native English and have a deep understanding of the UK healthcare industry
